Phantom Ace and Champ
« on: 17 April 2012, 01:57:18 AM »
Here’s a few more figures we finished painting this week. The first picture is of Phantom Ace and his two sidekicks, Molly Pixler and Champ….

Mr. Kaiser painted a skull on Ace's back. After-all, every top secret super-spy needs a huge logo emblazoned on their coat!  lol ….

HAVE FUN!

I believe it's required in the dress code section of The Handbook of Pulp Villainy and Unscrupulous Behavior.   lol

Looking good!

Very nice! The dog, the freehand skull, the pattern on Molly's skirt, all first-rate.

Good looking figs.  Doesn't the dog need a spiked collar to be really pulpy?   lol

Here’s a few more pics of Champ. I wasn’t happy with the original ears, so I used some green stuff to do some quick cosmetic surgery….

Thaks for all the comments.  :D

Wonderful figures.  What do you use for the ground under your terrain?  It really fits well.

Cryntel Roma Stone Vinyl Tile, #0258040 (Mojave)

Picked mine up at a Lowes's store for about $2.70 per 18"x18" tile.

Champ came from Darkson Designs, AE-WWII: American K-9 Squad.

I may have received a bad casting, but his ears did look more like stubby horns out of the pack. It was easy enough to fix with a dab of green stuff.
