Yup, those are Hirst blocks. I suppose they don't have that monotone look because I stain each block individually, before I glue them in place.

Alright, that's hardcore  o_o
My hat is off to you! I'm going to try the multi color look on my next build... not going to stain individually though :)

Vey nice board... and nice little dog. Do you remember where it's from?

Too small to be completely sure, but to me it appears a MEGAMINIS figure:

I really like this little dog too:

I have lots of MEGAMINIS figures (including both dogs) and they have good prices and their orders always arrived fast and complete.

Hope that helps.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Nice Stuff
The site with the temple is awesome, it will probably imitate me, what I like is that it is versatile.

I like the buried look to the temple, too. I think I may have to steal that idea for the Pulp scenario I have planned...

Pulp Girl, having been captured by malevolent Baron Charnock, is being held in the Perilous Temple.

Charnock is performing an evil incantation on the Sassanid Diamond to unlock its ancient powers.

But Rabu followed the Baron’s men to the temple. The sly little chimp is able to steal the keys off of an unsuspecting guard and sneaks into the dark depths of the temple without raising the alarm.

There he discovers Pulp Girl chained to the stone wall of the dungeon. Rabu successfully unlocks her iron manacles and Pulp Girl knows what she must do next!

Pulp Girl quickly escapes from the dungeon’s depths, fighting her way through the Baron’s crazed minions with ease.

She then climbs the side of the temple to face the Baron’s savage scar-faced gorilla. Meanwhile Baron Charnock continues his mystic spell as the ravenous giant-ticks are drawn by the scent of blood and the sounds of battle.

Although badly injured in the violent struggle, Pulp Girl defeats the vicious ape just in time to stop the Baron’s ritual. As the giant-ticks gorge themselves on the blood of the fallen, Pulp Girl and Charnock faceoff in an epic duel atop the ancient temple.

When Baron Charnock attempts to unleash the powers of the newly awakened crystal, Pulp Girl knocks him into the sacrificial pit with a well-aimed kick. The Baron and the diamond are gone, but now she finds herself surrounded with no hope of escape….

Is this the end for Pulp Girl? Stay tuned for Episode 4: The Infernal Automatons

I love it!

The board and figures look great, as usual; and the game report is inspirational. I'm looking forward to the next thrilling installment.  :)

I've missed this thread before, but I love it! What a great Saturday matinee feel to it.  :D

Lovely scenery – another vote for the Hirst blocks, plus the new rock formations that we've seen being built recently on another thread.

Long live Pulp Girl!  ;D
