Ground Zero Games Mecha
« on: 23 April 2012, 03:19:22 PM »
GZG were showing off some new mecha at Salute:

15mm scale but easily customisable for 28mm by just leaving the rocket plates off the front of the shoulders and using them as heavy power armour or a dreadnought style of walker... I bought the set of three and here is what they look like in the metal:

Once I have assembled them, I'll post some scale pix with 28mm soldiers so that you can get a better idea of how much of a big chunk of metal they really are. At £16-00 each, I think they are pretty good value and they are as poseable as you want them to be.

Just thought I'd share because there has been a question regarding assembly somewhere and I can't find it :) .

Hmm... I think I've just found my walkers for my 20mm sci-fi. Thanks for including the Grymn in shot, they're almost 20mm figures themselves, really helps for judging scale :)

I weighed my completed mech this morning (he is version B) and he weighed 9 ounces...that is over half a pound of metal!

Love these guys and would that I could but oh say 30 or so of them and build an army from it. But at that price, darn it cant these be done in plastic? (I'll start running now before the grognards get me)
