What models would you like to see done?
« on: 23 April 2012, 07:24:36 PM »
While I am not a sculptor I was thinking the other day what models I have not marked to purchase for my collection. I could not find any decent Tcho-Tcho.

So, what do you think is missing for the Cthulu Mythos minis out there? You can say more than one item. That is just the only one off the top of my head.

Cthulhu in 1:1 scale ....you will need a lot of green stuff   lol lol lol

More seriously I am browsing the CoC bestiary and I never saw the following monsters (from either Uncle Mike, RAFM, EM4, Mirliton or Black Cat...I might miss some) :

* a Shantak
* Shub Niggurath
* Stellar vampire

And I wish I could find decent Tindalos dogs.
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

Steller vampires would be kinda hard to make... are the not invisible? You only see them when they drank (your) blood and then only for as long as it takes for them to digest it...

It would be cool to make one out of see throughresin and them paint some blotches with tamiya clear  :D

Well, you could cast it in a clear resin or paint it sorta greyish to show invisibility....

There's certainly scope to produce better sculpts than many of the existing RAMF ones,(The King in Yellow for instance is particularly grim & deserves a suitably impressive sculpt).

I know Jo and I really love your miniatures as you know but your Tindalos dog (and the ones from RAFM) is not fierce enough for me  ;)

That's fine! We all like different things! Show me a picture of what you think one should look like or a combination of pictures and you never know they might inspire Ben!
Jo :)

The hound I like and plan to buy. The Tcho-Tcho are a bit modern for the 1920's...they would be great for a modern Cthulu game.

The hound is pretty good, but at Crisis 2011 I bought a newer version from Black Cat Bases that's not on their site...looks a lot better than the old one in my opinion.

I think Tengu Models has some great Tcho-Tcho's that will fit in nicely.
