Zombicide
« on: 27 April 2012, 11:11:42 AM »
The folks that made Super Dungeon Explore have a game called Zombicide coming out.   They have it up on Kickstarter, and with bonuses there it looks like a very decent source for all kinds of zombie and zombie hunter goodness.

I don't mean this as spam, I just wanted to share the knowledge.  Personally I think the figs shown look pretty decent, even if the game isn't great all the figures will come in handy for ATZ or your zombie game of choice.

I have already backed this game! It looks fantastic!
The way things are going all stretch goals will be reached which will mean a total of 108 minis of heroic 28mm scale for $100 or $125 for those of us outside of the US. The game play looks really good too (Youtube video showing basic gameplay on the kickstarter site)
I am really excited about this and can't wait until september when it is released

I've been following it too and am tempted.

I backed it hoping to get the extra character figures that were a 'stretch goal'.   With the character zombies and all the other extra zombies that are now included I'm very much looking forward to this.

Do you know if the mini's will be available outside of the board-game?

I'm gonna back this at the $100 level if they allow for PayPal pledges.

It's very much appreciated - I hadn't seen such a clear picture of the minis before, just an irritating semi-animated ad on CMoN.  Thanks.

Don't forget to add a "little" extra for the customs  :-[

Backed this this morning - looks absolutely amazing! And for that many minis, the price isn't too bad. There is a fair bit of variety among the walkers (more than in the picture), and they look like some conversion with a little GS wouldn't be too difficult to get a nice varied horde for any game.

I particularly want to use the 'fatty' zombie as the base of a character for a post apoc gang - head swap, switch the arms and a repose on the foot and he'd look right at home in the Wasteland!

Hope the casts come out as good as the demo ones, but if Super Dungeon Explore is anything to go by, I'm not too worried  :D

Backed. You'd be silly do anything less than $100 for all the goodies you get now.  At minimum you can make some cool horde bases.  Minis are practically $1 a piece now once you factor everything together.

IIRC Super Dungeon Explore was $75.00 USD with a similar number of figures. I like what I see so far...!

To be honest, Last Night On Earth probably fulfills all my zombie boardgame needs...

but, I may get this just for the figures!

Yep, I love that game but I'm still going to get this, mostly for the figures.
