Introducing the Red Baron of Bogglewort and his minions!!! Well another halfling unit down and I'm pretty happy with these as I tried to use more subtle highlighting as well simple paint scheme. In case you are wondering the Baron is an old Citadel famalair which works perfectly as an armoured halfling knight.

Please let me know what you think :-) Plenty more pics of this unit and my halfling army on my blog http://halflinghouse.blogspot.com.au/

You ahve done really well with the red. It is really striking.

That is one really impressive army that you are putting together!

Yup, the familiar REALLY plays the part.

Thanks for sharing your SPLENDID idea, and still better paint job.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

They are a dashing little Band of Vertically Challenged Heroes; EXCELLENT brushwork & color choices...love the red. The Guy in the back with the kettle helmet is my favorite. VERY WELL DONE!

That's a lovely little warband you have there, great work on the painting and some lovely old minis that I've not seen since... ooh, about 1984.

Quite splendid, I'm off to check your blog now...

Thanks for all the nice comments. I was pretty happy with the overall result of these guys, I felt like both my painting and photography had stepped up a nothc with these although there is still alot of room for improvement.
