WIP: Therian Army Reboot with Ravenstar/Shirow

Some time ago when the bulk of Rackham's plastic minis were being discounted, I bought a few boxes of the borg-like Therian troops. Regrettably, I didn't buy the larger mechs, which seem to demand a collector's price now. Anyway, to build my robotic force, I dug out a few toys (some from Masamune Shirow's works), and found a vendor with nice multiped machines. If you are familiar with the creations of Ravenstar Studios, you will spot my purchases. Modifications include:
Adding weaponry and a Therian faceplate to the tiny Tachikoma AI toy
Making a "centaur" Queen by adding the torso from an Appleseed Movie villain to a Ravenstar walker carriage
Making new nanotech generators that don't look like 7-of-9's hairdryer
Converting NANOVOR tank bug toys into a kind of cavalry

I'm not practiced at painting mech models, so they are rather plain. The resin casts from RS were not without flaws, some of which I have no idea how to fix. Still, I think their versatile design is a big plus (on sale through tomorrow as well).

I really like your Cyborgs (?). Especialy the smaller crab-like things in the lower left corner, and the big structure that looks like a giant sentry gun.

I have a big Therian army with multiple walkers myself, maybe I'll do something with it someday (probably sell it )

Nice! They all looks extremely weird, which perfectly matches the Therian aesthetic. Plus, I love the nanotech generator.

The way I've assembled these doesn't match well with unit stats for official AT-43 game play. I use them for general scifi RPG minis; cyber machines in 28mm+ that cost less than INFINITY models are uncommon. I have a larger nanotech generator (for the bugs) and a rocket/shuttle yet to photograph.

Never saw those NANOVOR toys here in Portugal and it's a pity, they really look like Therian machines
