« on: 10 May 2012, 01:58:24 AM »
Hi guys.

I want to propose in its online store figures 15 mm from the little-known Russian company. I have this scale has never worked, so I want to ask you. These figures and topics will be of interest?

 XIX century Caucasian war:

Foot mountaineers.

Mountaineers in the battle.

The cavalry of the mountaineers.

Russian command group.

Caucasian Cossacks.

Russian infantry.

Here you can see, the soldiers looked like the war and read about one of the significant events of this war - assault of mountaineers aul Ahulgo.
Text in Russian. We'll have to use the Google translator.

Not my interest but my scale.  I'm afraid 15 mm tends to get short shrift here by many so not really the right place for your inquiry I suspect.  But, who knows, they might surprise me.  They do look like very nice figures.  I'd look for G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T. players in 15 mm - then I think you have an audience.

Generally quite nice but the arm on the nearest caucassian cossack looks very strange. I don't do 15mm, but if I did I'd give them house room.

I play a lot of 15mm colonials, and I am fascinated by the wars in the Caucasus. I have not found any figure maker so far to build an army. Please let us know more, and how to order these nice figures.

Incidentally, the Russian figures in this series are suitable for the Crimean War and the Russian-Turkish War, 1877-1878 (irregular forces - Cossacks).
The figures of the mountaineers - also suitable for gaming on the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878. The Ottoman army had considerable irregular troops moved into Turkey from the Caucasian highlanders.

The decision was made - these figures will be sold in my shop. When they will appear in the sale - I'll let you know here.
If necessary, information will render assistance in the color, the formation of armies and the creation of scripts.

This is really bad news! i am trying not to buy too much new stuff and you have to put such temptation in front of me. Fascinating period - Sabres of Paradise by Lesley Blanch is a superb read. I have been slowly painting Minifigs Crimean Russians but had almost given up hope of getting proper figures for the opposition. I look forward to seeing these on your site.

Once the rest of the Caucasian range is ready for market, count me in. Love those mountaineers.

The uniform, organization, and campaign histories would be great for those of us not familiar with the details of the campaign(s).

Can I play a "complete" game using the 3 packs now on offer or will I need other sets to field a force from each side?
