Buddhist Shrine Diorama - Looking for Monk minis
« on: January 31, 2008, 05:29:53 AM »
Ladies and Gents,

I'm building a Buddhist diorama for a shrine (as in a real shrine, for real worship). I'm using this lovely piece from Armorcast's "Wild Steam Creations" line as the Buddha statue:

I need some Buddhist monk minis to go with it. Anyone know where I can find any? Specifically I need some Teravada (the saffron robe types), but a few other sorts wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks in advance!

Code and description of the Irregular set.

Irregular really doesn't hold up well to todays miniature standards. For some of the it is really difficult to see what they are supposed to be.

Can't really argue with that, although some of it is quite good. Unfortunately though, for Irregular, other stuff is amazing.

i think the irregular minis are actually quite good, my dad buys them in 54mm and they look crap when he buys them, but they look stunning when finished!

Platoon 20 used to do monks in 20mm, I have two for my Vietnam gaming.  If you are gaming in 28mm they could pass as young initiates.
