Hex Base Help

Howdy Yawl,

Ive recently returned to modeling figures for Role-playing Game set in a particularly well known post-apocalyptic storyworld - and Ive hit a small roadblock. I need to base the things on hexes, but as far as I can tell from google, hex bases look rather ugly compared to their square and round counterparts. I was just wondering if anyone had any pictorial references to nice looking hex bases that I could take a peek at.
