Hi,

Thanks for all the positive feedback and advice  :)

I managed to sculpt another abdomen and thorax which will use six legs this time and I'm also busy with new sets of wings and Heads.

They should be enough to make two complete flying creatures and all the parts will be interchangeable.

I'll post some photo's when I get a chance over the weekend.

thanks
George

But why does it have only four (when finished) legs?

Why not? where does it state that all insects have six legs :)

but yes, since I play RT it could use one pair of legs more ;)

I'm pretty sure that there are no insects with only 4 legs... for me with only 4 legs its totally useless but i'm a bit anal about such things  ;D (used to kill bugs for a living so there...)

Wargames Supply Dump (though the stinging pose is out of stock)

I'd forgotten them even though I only found their site last week!

wow that's good. reminds me of the flying nasties from THE MIST

Uses:

Strange Aeons/CofC/'The Mist' transdimensional time wasps (Lukers).
Pulpy games/Crooked Dice/Doctor Who: brutal jungle insects/mad professor experiments, (do a head with a fricking laser beam targetter to fit with evil Lair creatures and Crooked Dice TV7 stuff).
Caveman: same but prehistoric bugs.
Rogue Trader: as already commented.
Fantasy: nurgle pestilence wasps (+/- little wraithy/diseased riders)
Forest nymph mounts (+ little Froudesque riders).

There you go possibilities of usage are endless!

The Commander

Red: do some alternative heads, one a bit more monstery, that Dr Evil cybernetic one would sell, maybe something abit cthulhu with tentacles for manbiles?
