Mutton Chop-Vehicle WIP (pics added 10th June)
« on: 04 June 2012, 02:13:27 PM »
Paul asked if I could knock together a half-track version of his Croydon truck, using the Carden Loyd track system.

I've made a start, two versions are planned, one a troop carrier, and the other an armoured car / support.

Heres what we have so far,its a bit rough and ready, but you can get the general idea.

cheers

Looks like it's tilting backwards a bit... are you planning on maybe trying different rear tracks? Perhaps a bit larger?

Its all blu-tacked together at the moment, so don't read too much into it.
The track units will be the ones used on the model, as its meant to be thrown together out of whats available, and these Carden Loyd units are perfectly in period.

The Victorian Outpost

Its a new gaming place in Grimsby with new terrain and new scenery, lots of respect for all wargamers and is the best place to game in town.

Anybody who wishes to visit the venue to arrange a game then  just pm me and lets roll those dice.
