I am going to use Moth from Alternative Armies, I haven't tried it out yet, so I have no idea if it is good, but so far I have found no drastic negative things in the rules.

No, I have taken on too many things in one go, so I must do my ship and "pirates" first.

I will see how much I can finish for Moth, but I doubt I will be all ready.

I can still bring it if you guys are willing to try the game out with a mix of painted, half painted and unpainted miniatures.

Yesterday Thorbjørn and I worked on basing some palm trees for a pirate game and some of the trunks were cut shorter, so not all trees had same lenght.

Thorbjørn took some of the cut off trunks with him and claimed he wanted to use them for something not yet decided. I looked at the remaining and thought about what I could do with them and then I decided to build some more alien terrain for Moth.

This is the result so far.

Hmmm, sorry, but I never played World of Warcraft, I did play Warcraft 2 back in the days, but I can't remember if they had anything like this in that game.

I wanted to have shown some images of some finished stuff, but didn't get to finish anything today.

While building and painting terrain today I reached one point with these new "trees" almost looking like planets for some space ship battle game.

Right now a bunch of terrain pieces are ready painted, bases sanded and are just drying over night and hopefully I will finish a load of pieces tomorrow and have some pictures for you.

Wow, they look great. I always thought that those seed pods would work well as a place for little nasties to jump out of. ;)

I think I am beginning to have an ok collection of alien sci-fi terrain, I guess next step will be doing some hills and painting more miniatures.

Roxxorrr!!!!

Very cool.

although I'll have to say that the symmetry of the CD's ruins it a bit. But what the hell - that's a minor concern.

Hehehehe, yeah, I thought you would say that, I don't mind that much though, I kind of like the order of it  :D

Anyway, I might end up doing some more irregular shapes at a later point, cd's were mainly chosen because it was cheap, easy and what I had available.

I think the problem will be less obvious when I do a table in the same basing colours, but time will tell.

Also I will probably make some single based cacti and such things, to break up the landscape more.
