ROE 28mm British AT gun
« on: June 10, 2012, 09:39:12 AM »
Dear All

I've just completed the ROE (Artizan?) British AT 6 pounder and crew and used an old CD for the base. Hope you like them and, as ever, constructive criticism most welcome!

Very nice, looks so much better than mine!

I'm glad to see somebody else who bases their crews on seperate bases as well!

I have seen this over at the RoE forum, and it sure looks great. I also base all my figures seperatly, I really dont like bases with several miniatures stuck to them, it really limits what you can do with them. Nice painting as well!

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

The gun was a bit fiddly in construction but I'll put that down to my skills! Is it me or does super-glue only ever work quickly on fingers?

The figures, which I think might be Artizans though branded as ROE, were a treat to paint. I get the impression that the sculptor had painting in mind when he or she formed them.

I am putting together a Black Tree Panzer M right now and the glue sticks the metal to my fingers faster than the other metal parts! *sigh*
