I like the paintjob... better than I do at any speed. May need to rethink purchasing these marines.

A very nice mini for a 'quick' paintjob. How well do they go together/paint up out of curiosity?

Excellent paint work.  Best one of these Defiance Games Marines that I have seen.

Excellent paint job! I'm not too sold on the proportions of the model but it looks good enough. Did you do a lot of preparation on this model?

I literally threw this one together from the pre-production sprues I received (hence the less than perfect fit of the arms) but have only just painted it in the last two days. I did add a collar and reshape his 'bum' a bit but apart from general clean-up (which, i must say is minimal with the production castings) it's pretty much OOB. I think the proportions are ok and they paint up very nicely (next ones will be better). They're cheap enough - have a go!
Here he is with a couple of vehicles...

I wish they sold them in smaller quanities, I've no need for 24 of them.

You make them look great by the way!

DG?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Nope, standard box is 24.
Always was going to be.

Nice job on them Dwartist.  Love your work.  Got a box of them myself last week and I found them fine for the task and easy to clean up and/or modify (mine are for TW.  Already have two 4 man fireteams assembled).

You could always use the rest for conversion fodder! I'm just doing a single squad with the box I bought and turning the other sprues into whatever. I'm thinking of mashing them together with bits from some Wargames Factory Persians and turned them into insurgents, and make a few more into corporate security types.
