He, He, He!

Linda (being a "Ripperholic" too) is almost as invested in my idea of doing a 'faux' "Whitechapel Disctrict" as I am - I know it's going to take time (just the planning of it has been going on for a while now) but it's something I really REALLY NEED to do LoL!

That was one of the thoughts on my Blog actually, how about a Were-Tiger Faction based around the Indian Thugee cult!

(Great minds etc...that was something I mentioned in the SOTR forum for the expanded Burma Campaign add-on a few years back).

Any thing were would work, hence my almost/potential dragon clan idea.

Keep them coming good people.

Well then you'll have no excuse not to host a South West contingency EOTD game then will you? ;)

I'd be delighted to - but not for a while...! I'm currently working on Carpathian houses like the ones in the village in Van Helsing, and once I've got a dozen or so of those done, I'll be moving onto London. Still, it's good to have other players who aren't a million miles away :)

More than 3 if we choose - I should have enough to do a Wolfenjager club, a Darkfire club, a Cossack based gentleman's club of some sort, a Nosferatu gang and a Lycan gang...  ;D ;D

Might have to take some weekend trips to Devon in the future then to get some games in :)

You could use the Zendarian Template for the Cossacks I reckon.

Okay, just for a moment, I was wishing I was not located in the midwest of the USA then I remembered I would have to leave CONUS which I have studiously avoided except for twice to Hawaii.

Gracias,

Well Bagshot and I are Devon based so there's three unique factions in the offing! ;)

Three?
My dear chap, the old grey cells have been in overdrive since I read the confounded rule book...

1. Lycan faction.
2. Steam-necro vampyr faction
3. Sons of Empire Gentlemens club
4. Darkfire Gentlemens club
5. League of Extrodinary Gentlemen's Club
6. Evil Toymaker ( Vamp list based faction )
7. Mr. Kurtz - Conrads Heart of Darkness based faction ( Vamp based list )
8. Col Aubrey Bagshot's Country Seat ( gentlemens club based list )

with more in the offing...
So between us unique isn't the word!

:o oh good grief, did nanny overdo the medicinal tintcure again old bean.  lol

In fairness I've got ideas for at least five myself but not until those Chinese show up will I know for sure. Vampire, were dragon,  gentlemen.s club good and an oriental hell  fire club  and the monster. So plenty of protagonists.

You are as insane as I am! My CURRENT List (as was discussed with v_lazy_dragon & Brummie Thug over on the Facebook EotD group)!

The Slayer Society (with various Van-Helsings and Harkers in tow)
Torchwood 1888
A Zendarian Faction
The Darkfire Club (naturally)
Two Nosferatu Factions (old miniatures and new)
Two Lycaon Factions (again old & new)
Two Brotherhood (theres a pattern to this)
The Cult of Sutekh (my own Mummy Faction rules in playtest atm)

THEN ON TOP OF THAT - all the Special Characters, two different Mobs, and the Zombies (probably two lots of Zombies actually).

Received my rulebook today, along with Gentlemen and Vampire starter sets, having read the book I have several ideas for factions apart from the regular ones.
The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls (started this already see http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=43172.msg503555#msg503555 first four figures should be finished and posted tomorrow)
Fagin (a mage?) and his street kids (using vampire list: Fagin-Vampire, Bill Sykes and Nancy-Heroes, and urchins-thralls)
Dr Moreau and his creations (Werewolf list?)
British Army veterans (A gentlemen's club of ex soldiers who have experienced the supernatural whilst serving abroad)
Captain Nemo and crew (adapting the Gentlemen's Club list)
Deep Ones and worshippers (adapting the Werewolf lists)
and like others I have also thought about, Frankenstein, Egyptian, Chinese and LoEG factions

Blimey - we areally are spoilt for choice down in the South-west  :D

Really looking forward to seeing what-else people come up with :)

VH - cheers for the suggestion of the Zendarians for the cossacks. Any thoughts or suggestions as to a possible list for an Army patrol, sent to hunt down the 'foul beast' which has been killing villagers (ala the Dragoons in Brotherhood of the Wolf, using the North Star 1866 Prussian Jagers in brown coats, grey trousers, black shakos, black leather equipment, and weither dark green or red trim)). This will probably be seperate to my Zendarian army faction/patrol list.... :-/
