Thank you both, coming from people whose own projects I really like these means much to me!

I got to work and started to paint the Warriors, I am no fan of batchpainting but I have no choice if I want to make it work, I hope the quality doesn`t suffer too much.

Lol, probably one of my most favourite faces, lets hope he finds a maiden who is after his inner values and not his face  lol

And this is why I never throw stuff away  ;)

I love Dwarfs in general...they're the counterpoint to my Goblins...& yours in particular. Your favorite face reminds me of Ernest Borgnine...he did rather well with the Ladies I hear. That aside, GREAT WORK!
I don't think you'll lose quality painting in batches of around four minis; as long as it doesn't become tiresome, you'll do fine.

Looks like a good start - that is a face only a mother could love  lol

Keep at it - I find batch painting can be a bit of a drag sometimes as you seem to be getting nowhere fast for a while but then suddenly you have a set of painted minis and you're thinking about basing materials!

The candelabra lends the whole affair a touch of class I must say

The Lads are coming along WONDERFULLY; they don't look like they're suffering from being painted in a group at all...definitely retaining their individual personalities. Keep up the FINE WORK!

Don't be to harsh to yourself; as the saying goes: "he only fails, who fails to try." As long as you continue on with The Project success will follow on its own schedule...& I'll be happy watching your horde evolve.

Look at it another way: now that there's no pressure, you can make each one a masterpiece!

Precisely! I have no end of projects started under pressure, and I almost always fail miserably - and you've got the core of a grand old army there, so sit back and enjoy doing the blokes individually.

Games Workshop, "Dwarf Lord with Horned Helm and Hammer". Got him. He's a lot of fun to paint.
