Spectrum Reinforcements (S.I.G)
« on: 20 June 2012, 11:29:59 PM »
A few more miniatures from crooked-dice - The Time Lift Commander with a head swap and two Time Lift Security Riflemen modified with the Time Lift Accessories pack.

And with a little work you get Captain Brown and two Spectrum Security guards with hover-packs.

Just finished my latest miniatures from Crooked Dice - The trio of Time Lift Security Detachment Two.

This time Doctor Fawn, Captain Magenta and Captain "Pink" (yes I've run out of colours lol).

Very nice and clean paint jobs... I really like the Dr. Fawn.  The first trio look a little surprised ;)

Have you thought about using a wash?  I think a diluted wash (like GW devlan mud) would really make these figures pop.

As for the eyes, it looks like you paint white first and then a black dot.  A suggestion might be to do it backwards.  Paint the eye in a line in black, then place two white dots on either side.

The paint work looks really nice and clean though!

These are the first three I've tried a wash on. I tried one of the new GW Reikland Fleshshade washes for these.
I think thats why the Doctor Fawn mini came out better this time than my other attempts.

You're right - white then black. I'll give it try the other way around with the next ones i do. :)
