Really? It feels a lot longer! 

Met a lot of great people and some good friends through this forum, from all around the world, both virtually and probably at least 100 in the flesh. It's a fantastic testament that something so essentially ephemeral can bring people together in real life to meet, enjoy good company (and green beer) and share an inspiring interest across mere national boundaries.

It's a shame that many of us in the UK still believe the Prof is actually just a fiendishly clever computer programme, not a real person, but still... 

Congratulations to us. We've come quite a long way in 6 short years when you think about it

We're really lucky to have such a great and supportive community. Everyone of every skill level is made to feel welcome her; this along with the diversity of projects makes The LAF an amazing place. And thats before the various LAM events!

I'm looking forward to the continued success of a website which has become part of my daily web routine!

I cetainly thought this forum was older. When I joined in Jan. 09 it was already a well developed & mature site. It has been of great inspiration to me over these last few years, and got me back to working on more projects. Catching up on the back log as best I can. The only down side is I see so many new ideas here, the list keeps getting bigger. Here's to many more years.
