Dixon Plains Wars
« on: 17 February 2008, 12:30:43 AM »
Does anyone have any photos or Dixon catalogue scans of their Plains Wars minis? I want to order some from a US stockist and don't want to wait a month to get their catalogue shipped over.  I realize it's expensive to show pics of dozens (if not hundreds) of figures on a website but too many manufacturers seem to expect people to order product sight unseen.  :(

Thanks,
Mike

I have some of their catalogues. I'll look through them and see whats there.

my figures were all Britannia.
Dixon Plains War figures are clean, sharp and in the Dixon style. If you like Dixon's wild west and ACW figures you'll like them and if you don't you wont. The horses are, as always, excellent.

Oops sorry Paul

I have a couple of the mounted indians, they are quite petite, the Indina with a sword is a bit wooden. The pack of shields is handy for conversions though I plan on paint ing my pile of Indians some day and built them up buying from e-bay over the last 3 years. Most are Foundry. I am also waiting for Conquest to re-release their Comanches.

Thanks, R.G. Just what I wanted! Waiting for my 'Noon Stage' to arrive but I'm going to order a couple more horses for it next week.  Doesn't look quite right with only 4.

Cheers,
Mike
