Those splendid Fellows of the Royal Society have put their science to good use in the creation of new weapons that lend themselves perfectly to such gentlemanly pursuits as hunting dinosaurs or pranging the odd Prussian ironclad.

Sir Henry Bullshott FRS shows off his Improved Faraday Electrostatic Discharge Gun (Lightning Gun)

This the the first of an group that I am planning. More figures as I paint/convert tham in between my main projects.

The figure is converted from Ramshackle Games' Isembard Kickass Brunel. I reworked the rail gun to look more VSF, including creating a new gun barrel similar to that on Eureka's impervious suit with lightning gun. The pistol was taken from a GW plastic  Necromunda figure.

He looks fantastic! Love the conversion work that you've done on him!

I need that model. He's on my list.

Such a clever and handy little portable device! Quite dainty compared to that lumpering old contraption of Prof. Cavor.

Very nice, Bullshot, we will see more of this sort.

Tip top indeed Sir Henry. Just the job required for beating those confounded Prussians eh what! :)  Nice conversion. 8)

Since there are two other clubs being created on this forum (Hammershield's "Kennel Club of Monimasket" and the Prof's "The Duchess of Hulgoland's Suffragette Club of Panneberg") I wonder how many more will appear over the next few weeks/months.

In the style of the aforementioned clubs, I will be doing my Royal Sociaty Shooting Club figures in pairs. Each club member will be accompanied by his porter, whose job is to help carry the club member's weapon and perform the ungentlemanly task of repairing it when the technology fails!

No problem with using the image. Would you like me to mail you the full size jpeg?

Hopefully I will get time to finish the repair work, filling and assembly on my Huntsman over the next few days. Look out for my next posting on that thread.

Dave
