Great background. I can hear him talking to his wife in a Hans-Moser-way: "Dann gehst' halt zum sufraggettieren. Bists aber Schlag Fünf zum Kaffee wieder da!" (the Vienna accent can be compared to the southern accent of dixie - try to speak german through the nose, stretching the syllables).

What we need next is Margarethe Blixenstyxen fran Smorgasbrod and her Kikuyu manservant.

Her name was Karen, and she was no Swede. Her husband was.  :P

Since the age of Hypatia, men have been drawn to the advancement of medical science, pushing back the borders of death and disease. Women have traditionally been drawn to the caring, healing aspects of the medical arts. That makes Frau Doktor Zermühl something of an anomaly.

Not content to play the role of nurse and bedside companion, Frau Doktor Zermühl is fascinated by theory and practice, in saving patients that other doctors would consider too long gone. Lately, she has found herself fascinated by treating patients with the most severe traumas. She has set up medical tents on battlefields, operating on patients that the Red Cross deems beyond hope. Though she terrifies her patients through her brusque manner and unorthodox methods, she has still saved men that were considered gone.

Her "caretaker" Gottlieb Krause, accompanies her more for proprieties' sake, though he often pitches in to help restrain patients in the surgical theater.

Ah, the Prof has got his paintbrush working again. Hooray! :D

Another good "club" concept and I agree, we do all need one.

The question is, what to choose :?

I wonder if it's possible to convert enough figures to do a "Carry On" club......

Mine is already in the embryonic stages. So nobody better steal my idea. I shall guard against that by the fiendishly clever device of not telling anyone what it is, or posting any pictures, ever.

But it does have the initials F.F.F.F.F. That's not giving much away.
