lovely. May I suggest a soft sepia wash on the yellow? Not a criticism, just my personal taste :)

I know what you mean, thanks for the hint :) In real the yellow looks much better, it's the photographing issue.

Yellow is not easy to photograph. It tend to become too shiny/flat when hit by light. :) BTW, I really like what are you doing with these lovely sculpts. I'd really like to see a groupshot soon!  :-*
I've primered my first 5 crossbowmen (can't resist!) but I've got so little time for the hobby in this period... I'm finishing a couple of commissions and then I'll paint them! Looking forward to share the result :)

thanks pal! Again, you won't be disappointed about your order ;) They are still crying "paint us! you know you want to...paint us!" in my laws crowded mind...not easy to study  lol And now my marauder landsknecht ogres arrived...this is the end!  lol
BTW, I was wondering if paint them in my usual yellow blue theme, but Professor's ones are so cool with all those colours...  :-*
I've to ponder about.

I'm having very much the same dilemma...frankly I'm getting tired of painting my red/blue color scheme....I may incorporate these guys into my army as a Merc. unit which will allow me to mix up the painting a bit.

Cheers,

Blue
