Strange Aeons Rules Questions

Hopefully, these have not been FAQ'ed.

Let's say an Agent has "destroy weapon" as a skill.  He goes hand-to-hand with a Daemonic Hound and wins the combat.  Instead of causing a wound, he elects to "destroy weapon" on the hound.  Since the hound's only weapon is his bite, does the skill work and the hound is now unarmed?

Second question:

A threshold group has two scrolls.  An agent with read languages elects to try to decipher the scrolls during the treasure hunting stage.  How many can the agent decipher?  I think the intent is only one but the rulebook is not helping me.

I would play as if you can't destroy hounds weapon, as the bit and claws arent "weapons" as such, but then again, I seem to interpret quite few rules differently

As for scrolls, I am pretty sure he can only translate one per end-game phase.

I would go along with Mathyoo on this one.
I cant see how you can destroy a creature's bite, claws etc without having caused a wound on its profile.

As for scrolls, one each per end game phase.

I concur with these gentlemen. Destroy Weapon can be used to destroy a weapon (anything from the master weapons table) and Read Languages lets you translate one scroll per end phase.
