Wargames Factory: Zombie Vixens!
« on: 03 August 2012, 04:40:01 PM »
Hi, I recently saw the news that Wargames Factory is about to release their Zombie Vixens plastic boxed set at Gen Con Indy later this month! The miniatures will be available for the rest of us after the convention. And they seem to be a major improvement comparing with their older zombie set!

Not bad looking

I wonder what the sprues look like and how they will size up

Thanks

This is REALLY good news! I´ve been waiting for these since I bought my first pack of WGF zombies years ago. They really look good, almost a little too good in comaprison with the male once. But thats not a big issue!

"Vixens"?  Are they suggesting that mouldering corpses are coquettishly sexy?  *shudder*

Potentially useful sprues to make living civvies, though, with a bit of patching up and reposing.
Back from the dead, almost.

A combination of these along with Studio Miniatures plastic male zombies on Indiegogo would make a perfect mix of the undead for fans of plastic. I'm keen to get some, but I haven't finished (or even started) painting my Victory Force zombies yet...

Nice painting on those!

Aren't they 3D renders?  The static grass/clumps on the base are far too regular to be real.

These look fun. I am not sure about the front three though compared to the middle row.

Are these multipart and if so how will the variations work? Is it arms and heads to attach?

Loving the one with one high heel still on.

Finally, some manufacturer's releasing the distaff side of the Coming Apocalypse.

This will end my Lovely Bride's argument that women are too clever/lucky/etc to get turned into zombies - up 'til now, the "all-male" nature of the miniature horde was strong evidence.

And I hope they look as good in person as they do in the image - the male WF Zeds are pretty dire.
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."
