Gothic Horror Campaign Report: A Devil in Jersey
« on: 03 August 2012, 08:22:04 PM »
I just posted on my blog the first installment of a report of a gothic horror RPG campaign I ran last year. It's titled "A Devil in Jersey" and is set in the American Revolution. Each week I did a summary of previous week's action in the "voice" of some of the characters. I also took some illustrative pictures. Although it was a horror campaign, we played it for laughs. As with most of my games, bumbling Ruritanian royals play an important part.

It can be found here:

Thanks for the links
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Lacepulp after Lacepunk: cheers!
What an impressive and promising cast of dramatis personae! Already more than enjoyable: enthralling, excellent -and so well illustrated! :o
Looking eagerly forward for the next instalments.

I hope that, when the 'Devil in Jersey' ends -not soon, please!- you'll repost on your blog the AAR and photos of your great 'Gaslight in the Age of Reason' game, so that everybody can discover and enjoy them: afaik currently they are accessible only to the members of the GaslightRules Yahoo Group?

Btw, am I alone to think that Foundry female Revenant Elves

(with 'normalized' ears) would make great 18th C. witches or (kept as such?) female vampires?

Simply excellent! Far better reading than most 'professional' novels I read for very long. And the pics are eye-candy.

Doug, the photos from the Warfare in the Age of Reason are posted in the photos section of the GASLIGHT Yahoo Group.  If I have a chance, I try to upload them to the blog.  Thanks for your interest!

I'm in both GASLIGHTphotos(closed) and GASLIGHTrules. I looking in the photos section of each, but still not seeing them. Each folder has a name, and that make the search a trifle easier.

Thanks!

Doug

Edit: Oh, merde, I could SWEAR there wasn't an Age of Reason folder before.

Marvelous reading as usual! Not only the Lovecraftian story, but the tone, and the way you play your various characters: a true one man show!
