So who in the UK stocks Superfig Minis
« on: August 07, 2012, 01:28:02 PM »
In the absence of any miniature stocklist stickies (mods take note! ;)). Who in the UK stocls superfig minis? Westwind used to but now I can only see rulebooks?

Anyone else or just a USA order direct, (as I see Old Glory UK don't either).

Cheers

US only with obscene shipping charges :(

In thoery, OG UK will order them in for you with a restock if you ask them but I've never got anything I've asked them for...

Dr.Falkenhayn sent me a PM saying he gets his Superfigs from Noble Knight Games, (US store, and he's Swiss) says the shipping rate is reasonable.

I only want a few things: (four figures actually) PM me and we'll put a joint order in? (split the shipping?).

There was a time when US gamers whined about prices/shipping from the UK.   >:D

I will refrain at this time from telling you what "advice" a British gamer told me at that time.   >:(

Too expensive?  Buy something else.  There are lots of good to great figures that i bypass because of price (cheap, parsimonious, responsible, not profligate, don't spend money like a drunken sailor - whichever seems most appropriate,) for reasonably priced figures of adequate quality.

Market forces can be frustrating it is true.   :-I

Obviously it fits their marketing model better to not sell it to you at the price you feel is the "correct" price rather than the price they offer.  Free market pricing principles at work here.

Actually I'm talking about excessive shipping not about the price of the minis. And the shipping rates vary from company to company, And are not always reflective of the sevice offered.

So if crossover can send me nine minis for a reasonable $8.50 which took a week dead, why should pay $12 for deliveythat could take anything from 14 to 60 days. or $67 Shipping to get jt I  a week!

Appreciate profiting market forces but that just takes the piss.

cheers.

I use a company called FRP Games, they discount their superfigs so you get a pretty good deal when you order from them. Not sure how international shipping works if it would be any more of a savings.

If something is out of stock, it can take an extra week or so for them to get a reorder. If you see something out, email and ask them to restock first to avoid delay if possible. Otherwise you have to pay and order two seperate shipments or wait for everything to be in at once before they ship.

I doubt it would be cost effective to ship to me and ship overseas to you....figure the savings would not be worthwhile by then.
