Nice models, Bandit - and the droid IS big! As someone said in another thread, the red armour looks good.
Lighting - are you using flash? Jusging by the shadow of the camera lens it looks like it, unless your light source isabove and slightly behind you when you take the pics. I'd try for natural light as it seems to work best - Helen Bachaus'  regular outdoor pics of books and models are grand. If this is not possible, try keeping the camera a little farther away and then cropping out the shadow.
