Just a quick reminder that WAMP2012 will be taking place on Saturday at Maelstrom Games in Mansfield.
The event will consist of:

Painting Contest
Open to any miniature,manufacturer or genre. Categories include single figure,group,diorama,large scale/bust, monster/vehicle and best Banelegion as well as peoples choice and Best In show. All entries will be judged by a top class panel and will receive a score and feedback sheet. All qualifying entries will receive a Gold,Silver or Bronze certificate and category winners will receive a High Quality Optical crystal award.

Speed Painting
Can you paint a mini in 30mins? Maelstrom Store credit for the winners

Workshops
There will be two formal workshops on the day. Tommie Soule from Golem Studios will be giving a practical tutorial on painting faces. John Keys will be showing how to get the best from pigments and weathering.


As well as all that the day offers a chance to see some stunning miniatures and meet up with some of the best painters in the UK and Europe. Its also a great way to get face to face help on your WIP's (ideal if you're planning to go to Golden Demon or Euromilitaire)

The entire event is completely free and doors open at 10am.
