EW Polish PZL.23 Karas light bomber review + painted model
« on: August 14, 2012, 11:12:14 AM »
Discovered this site called "Armaments in Miniature" that had one of the bomber aircraft that I need for my Early War Poles now that you can have a variety of Polish air support in September Campaign v.2.0.

The guy who owns the store also has a ton of other airplanes that will become useful for Soviet players wanting to add some air support for their Early War armies.

In any case, I bought the PZL.23 Karas light bomber and some transfers - parcel arrived from the US within a week and the model (full resin) was just awesome.

And this is how the model ended up being painted. Having looked around, most sources show the airplane being painted in tan colors with a bright undercarriage.

The windows are inspired by another painter who painted up this model for his Romanian army. I thought it looked pretty cool and since the Poles got most use of their bombers in the southern regions of Poland I saw it fitting to have a mountains reflect on the windows and a Tatra region themed base.

Perhaps useful - there is such a website WINGS PALETTE.
They collect the color options of aircraft.

Fantastic work Anatoli. Love the colours and the aircraft in particular.
