Tunnel Rat
« on: 26 February 2008, 09:04:52 PM »
I painted my first tunnel rat today,
it's a conversion on a TAG vietnam dolly, so any not-good looking parts* will come from me and the good bits are theirs ;)
it's very dirtylooking on purpose, of course..
*Arms equipment hair

skin looks a bit too yellow on my screen, dunno if it's the shots or my settings..??

hope you like it

I feel like a proper spammer now, think i've posted it in 5 different places already :D

You will have to remember all the boobie traps they used, snakes, faeces form disease ridden persons, false floors, poisoned tunnels, tunnels that collapse and the pungi sticks

I know i know, lots of work..
reading up on what i'll need in FNG, they have a random layout-table for tunnelsystems that i thought i'd use for what i need..

I'll be making a lovecraftian/chaos underground temple at the same time too, have a set of the old Wild walls for that :)
just have...to..get..started

I know an ex-tunnel rat. While he rarely talks about it, what he does tell is truly chilling. Nice conversion job. I don't see anything to be ashamed of at all!

Great idea for a game. Looking forward to seeing the tunnels now. No pressure :)

Aaron, it's the pictures themselves i'm not too happy with, but it's a hassle for me to get pics taken so they'll do :)
I know enough from reading about them that i wouln't want to have been one. :?

Yup tunnels are being planned as i write this, i got some expanding foam and paint ready, just need to pick up some kind of cheap basematerial (i think floortiles of some sort would be good ) and  i should be ready to go:)
