more Star Wars (Gran Bounty Hunter-P3)
« on: August 26, 2012, 12:10:47 PM »
After so many WWII vehicles I needed a break again.
Time for two more Star Wars Minis, Count Dooku and a Sith Apprentice.

Count Dooku by Knight Models and Softplastic Droids -  by WotC

This model is inspired by some of the Sith dresses used in the SW-TOR online game. The mini is an Infinty Reverend Moira, left arm is from a YuJing Zhanshi Hacker and the Lightsword is just a plastic rod.

Thanks guys for the nice comments!
After finishing the Fate of the Jedi series, playing some SW-TOR AND seeing the awesome SW minis collection of Scotty, I am really interested in SW again.

BTW - I really think that many Infinity minis can be converted into GRWAT SW minis, I have a Gran Bountyhunter based on a PanO mini on the table right now!

I'm so very much flattered.  Agis was my inspiration for picking up a brush and painting miniatures.  He is the undisputed master in my mind.  What impresses me so much with his work is his uncanny ability to paint flat, featureless areas and make them pop.  :o

And Scotty, the sheer amount and careful execution of your SW minis is worth mentioning! So keep it up!

Great work Agis!  Just think one day you'll be able to field those minis in a game of ViDe sci Fi!

Yes, yes, I am on it...

In fact I am: The rules for robots are already done, Jedi like characters can be handled as heroes like the ones in my old Back of beyond book. In due time...
