Motorbike with s/car and Vickers mg

i picked payed for a model, but will have to wait for the bike in the post

Motorbike with s/car and Vickers mg, does anybody have any information on the operation they were used in  Russia, if any  or other battles eg India etc?
Did the red capture any or was any sent to russia throught the first world war ?
If yes i was hoping to convert one for my red army

 In the Red Army used motorcycles. Usually, they were part of the broneotryad (Armoured detachment).

Was it a mix of different makes of motorbikes

Prescribes establishing great program Samokatnaya (bicycle) units for which motorcycles with machine guns fit best. Since the beginning of the war until January 1, 1916 Russia had time to order abroad for carriage guns and ammo just 125 motorcycle brand "Scott Vickers," two "Vickers" and one "Rex", "Sunbeam" and "Coventry Premier". In 1917 ordered the 1250 "motorcycles, of which 400 with trailers."

 It is also necessary to note that in early 1914 to increase the vehicle fleet in time of war was approved "Regulations on military conscription car", according to which, to mobilize vehicles from private individuals. For this service, beginning the war of individuals joined the army about 3,000 cars, 430 trucks and 1,800 motorcycles. Of course, about the monotony of mobilized equipment it was not.

After the revolution, all the vehicles entered the red and white army.
