And the latest Perry Napoleonics are...
« on: 05 September 2012, 02:06:06 AM »
... 40mm resin ! Yes folks, who'd have thunk it ? Never try to second-guess those sneaky Perry twins, they're always three steps ahead of you lol

In the words of Alan Perry hisself :

Quote
After receiving Norman Swales amazing 40mm guns I decided that we just had to produce them in resin...... and then I thought why not the crew too. So we are. The rest of the 40mm Peninsular War range from now on (not the existing range which will still be metal) will also be in resin. Although the price will have to go up we hope you'll find it's worth it for the quality. Although it looks and feels like hard plastic (and many people would say it is), this is actually resin. it's the perfect medium for this scale of figure.

 Alan

Yes, very clever!

They look nice though, will these be the only miniatures, or are there more?

I am a bit confused now - are the pre 1812 infantry mentioned elsewhere in fact 40mm resin or is that something completely different?

What Keith said. The forthcoming 1808-1814 Napoleonic French infantry are 28mm metal, whereas these are the continuation of the 40mm range Alan's been adding to for the past seven years or so.
