A question about the user general stats

Gents, I was idlely browsing through my general stats (realising that no hour has. Even left untouched  ::) ) and the board activity section raised a question that I hope you can answer  :)

The Most Popular Boards By Posts and the Most Popular Boards By Activity have little blue bars  next to them. Do they signify actual membership usage of that particular board?
