Sculptor looking for work
« on: September 13, 2012, 03:35:36 PM »
Over the next few months I have some free slots available if anyone is looking to have some sculpting work done.
You can see examples of my work at:

Contact me on tidyfiguremaker@yahoo.co.uk for rates and conditions.
Cheers,
Ian.

would be better if you posted this, elseware because it will probably count as spam.
and not in all the different categories.

I didn't know where else to put it, didn't think it was appropriate for the Bazaar. And I posted in the the different categories as those are the ones I'm interested in working on. Sorry if it wasn't appropriate.
Ian.

If you have slots free at the end of November (when my shares mature) I'll have some work for you!

What do you charge?

I am looking for some figures that closely resemble Dixon ACW in 25mm but are not standard height/weight.

One that's half a head shorter in height (but with the same sized rifled musket) and maybe slightly too large clothes (Shorty).

Another that's half a head taller (but with the same sized rifled musket) and maybe slightly too small clothes (Beanpole)

And another of normal height that is obviously overweight (Tubby).

All in kepis.

It's always been a small gripe of mine that everyone is the same height and size. Sometimes you can use miniatures from a slightly smaller or larger range but then the weapons aren't the right size, or the style is different.

Do you know, ME TOO - I've converted up a James Bond "Jaws" using the Crooked Dice head and a Foundry Body - it took me ages to find a body thats tall enough to look right!

Just out of curiosity, is that Pacific warrior a one off piece or is it available somewhere?

The Pacific warrior was sculpted for Paymaster games, I'm not sure if it's currently available as he is in the process of re-designing the site in preparation for his upcoming game. There is an email address on their home page so you could contact them through there.

Sorry Ian, don't want to derail but who was the Tesla figure done for?

I'd love to give you some work but my new job doesn't pay remotely as well as my old one so my commissioning of sculptors has had to go on hold for now :(
So many projects..... so little time.......

Tesla was sculpted for Stone Tower miniatures but as far as I am aware was never released.
