They must have earned every penny - straining under the load.The last photo may give a clue to the age of the putty with the price. Painting to follow.

Well done. I get the same idea but i never do it in practice (too many figurines and so little time).
This excellent plastic box give a lots of ideas/opportunities about conversion works... :P

The Perry sould produce a box of naked figurines (or doll figurines) for conversion jobs :
Suitable for :
Gallic-Germanic warriors
African warriors
Greek-roman world warriors,
Berber light infantry
safari bearers
etc....

With different heads sprues, the job could be easy for them.
