Those are mostly Black Tree Legionaries and Auxiliaries mixed together, with some command figures from Crusader and Foundry.  A lot of the shields are from A&A to fit the A&A transfers.

My rationalle was to depict the legion soon after it was raised in the emergency of 68/69AD.  I've asumed they were equipped from military stores with whatever gear was to hand, hence the mix of segmentata and hamata, pila and hasta.  You can't see from the photo, but they also have a mix of tunic colours from beige through different shades of blue, the latter being the colour associated with marines (by Vegetius?).

I might add a unit of unarmoured skirmishers at some stage. There is evidence for unarmoured skirmishers from the camp of I Adiutrix, at Mainz.
