They do have a certain appeal, don't they? But then again, I've always been a sucker for the old VOID/Warzone miniatures  :-*

In reality Hitler wasn't a vegetarian but in the grimdark future world of Corpsehumper he may well be.
I think I'll copy you Scurv, great idea! :D

One suppose the bits of his brain where he recalled the vegetarianism was just a publicity stunt got burned and/or rotted. Presumably that's part of the reason he also detests the Goth Reamers Remegothians, since he would now think he's celibate to boot.

I really like the design for it´s appearance, but I don´t find it beautiful. It is disturbing, but excellent. They look like I imagined the bio-armour and weapons of those Yuuzhan-Vong when I read the StarWars books and did not know the graphic novels and artwork. Perfectly like I imagined them to look like to be honest!
And I agree about a certain Warzone feel on them what is not the worst thing in the world. Corpse Hammer is alright to me. Not worse than WARMACHINE or something like that. You get an image by that name what it is about, that´s fair and alright to me. Keep the name and the graphic artwork is very fine too. Well, look at my age, I am an eighties metalhead and this really appeals to a certain nerve. I like it loads! Two thumbs up. There will always be criticism, but you have to keep YOUR thing going. Listen to the comments thoroughly though. There will be useful ideas and things you never thought of. Potential buyers should be listened but not obeyed in any way. Otherwise you´d loose your/the game´s identity.
Great work, sir! I look forward to see their opponents and hope them not to look like some Nurgle/Cryx hybrids. There are too many zombie-esque monsters out there. I´d like to see something visionary like the ones you´ve already shown.

These are excessively heavy metal, but also excessively charming. With a good paint job they would look the business. Fair one on "Corpsehammer" sailing a bit close to GW territory though!

I really quite like this. The Heavy Metalness of it all deserves admiration. Will be keeping an eye on it.

Corpse Hammer?  ;D

Why not Corpse Cleaver or something else? Then to link it in with 40k?

I know that Hammer isn't copyright but it is obvious why it has been chosen...

YAWN  ::) .

The miniatures look well detailed but I am not impressed with the 'flatness', weird proportions and the dubious anatomy on the legs.

Not a kickstarter I will sign up to but good luck to them.

I can't understand why they would want to have ANY link to WH40k though... even if it is in jest. Why not just take a different path and try to avoid the whole derivitive thing totally?

Corpse Hammer Preview #2: Necrovanum Hate Faces

Up for preview we have the Necrovanum Hate Faces. Born of dark arcane machine with flesh and cybernetics, the legions of Necrovanum are then raised from their dead state by the Arch Necromassers.

The Hates are the most commonly used troop type amongst the Necrovanum. They are simple to manufacture and require the lowest level programming of their forces. Simple savage beasts, the Hates roam the world of Sephraxis at their dark masters will, lurching, hunching and twisting about every which way, looking and listening for prey with which to consume.

The Hate Faces are the lowest level Hates. They are the cannon fodder of the Necrovanum, a solid step above the refuse of rejected bio-mass initiates grown in the arcane incubation chambers. All the Hates are without arms and jaws with various weapons affixed to their bodies, usually their grim visages. They Hates do not see or have eyes in the traditional sense, rather they have sensors that hone in sharply on movement, waves of emotion and the smells they encounter, thus lending more to their animalistic state and behavior.

The Hate Faces are a fast and light melee unit. 10 models per unit.
Necrovanum Hate Faces (10 minis) - $38
Necrovanum Hate Faces x2 (20 minis) $70 - ($6 Savings)
Necrovanum Hate Faces x3 (30 minis) $96 - ($18 Savings)

All miniatures will be available in the Corpse Hammer Kickstart in early October.
Hate Faces x3 pack will be a Kickstart exclusive deal only.

Brilliant! It's like a weird dream or something. I find the names of everything and look you've chosen for the game/website completely OTT and it's gone waaaay beyond bad to cheesey good as far as I'm concerned. The miniatures look a little soft to me and some of the 'details' are unclear but that just adds to the charm.
As long as your prices aren't stupid you can count me in :)

Well thank you, and thanks to the rest of you (yes even the pervy amongst you).

I was kind of going for a Heman/MOTU (Master of The Universe) type deal where you have big muscles (Heman), big weapons, science fiction (ManAtArms) and of course fantasy with animal mounts, winged mounts etc but the mounts will be more cybernetic so they can take more punishment from the enemy. Of course I like it, want to make it and am taking it seriously as it is work and passion. I am not trying to remake Heman (nor 40K), but just do something cool and fun. I dig the heavy names, I've always been that way, thus Corpse Hammer. I had three names to choose from, all were heavy death metal'sih, sigh, lol. The fact the name has Hammer in it is a happy or not so happy coincidence to 40k. (Shrugs, I make what I like) Ultimately I just wanted to make a cool brutal dark weird blended genre game. I think stuff like that is cool. (Sorry)

As for the Good guys having houses in the world led by barons, counts, warlords, lords etc, I just straight up took that from Medieval stylings as well as a little King Arthur dabblings. Other inspiration came straight up from fantasy vikings and barbarians, both of which I really love.

Here are a couple of high poly snaps that I did to see how far I could push my skill, model details and to see if I could make fun stuff in the future like collectable figures. They are from House Remegoth as well. This is actually the exact same base model used on the mini with identical proportions, just gobs of detail and of course the image is much larger to see. In the future I will be doing art on the website and more so hopefully that will bring the world to life as well as the story, background of course the game and minis.

I'll leave you guys alone and just go back to posting previews. Sorry for any confusion or other stuff and thank you for any consideration.

Yes, the Hates do seem promising and quite ubiquitous (moreso than the bioarmour dutes with OTT guns) to use as any number of alien beasties.

Or you could just say you are following the model of Malleus Maleficarum, without resorting to all that offputting Latin ;)

Corpse Hammer Preview: House Remegoth Death Eaters

Corpse Hammer
For preview we have the House Remegoth Death Eaters. The Death Eaters wield the heavy Crucigoth Butcher Blade as well as the Blade Bulwark Shield. The Crucigoth Butcher Blade is House Remegoth's own unique melee weapon. It is used in powerful strokes to render the Death Eater's enemies asunder. The sword may be turned sideways and used to block incoming ranged attacks from the Necrovanum.

Yet to add to the Death Eater's defensive capabilities is the Blade Bulwark. A thick shield capable of blocking almost any attack, the bulwark has a blade running along its circumference allowing the shield to be swung sideways and used as an additional hand weapon. The Blade Bulwark may also be hurled into enemies, thoroughly engorging the Death Eater's unfortunate enemies.

Usually units are named after their weapons. However since each house has its own unique melee weapon, these melee specific units are given a singular name across all houses. Hence, Death Eaters.

House Remegoth Death Eaters are 4 models per unit.
Death Eaters (4 Minis) - $24
Will be available in the Corpse Hammer Kickstart in early October.

Damn, I really like this line. I don't know why, but the theme and looks are great. At the same time, the sculpts look quite daunting to paint! So much detail it is almost scary. But I think I can use some of the sculpts for Warzone. The Dark Legion approves!
