Art meets Modelling

I imagine this chap is a LAF'er, if not he should be - it'd improve his quality.  ;)

More pictures over at his web site, en Francais: http://www.marc-giai-miniet.com/

Wow! :o That's pretty amazing. 8)

Especially since he seems to have made an exact model of the archives at my office. I tell them they should start using spreadsheets, you know; like I do, but no; it's all forms and folders for them. So that's what you get; a veritable pit of archived files that can only be sorted out by dumping them into a submarine with a crane...

But that can't be my bathroom though; that part of my life lies in the past and we don't speak of that anymore. I'm much better now, thank you.... ;D

Do you think he uses Dollhouse props?

I took a good look at some of the chairs he used and I can't be too sure. On the one side, they look a bit wonky, and other  hand, they're really well proportioned. I'll have a closer gander shortly.

I did recognize a crane arm in one of the basements, which looks very much like it came from a plastic toy crane. There might be other stuff in there that came from toys or dollhouses.

Wheeh; now it's not just gawking at the madness/genius, but also a searching game! :D

+++EDIT+++ Yup; I'd say that the bath and toilet in the top picture are dollhouse furniture, as well as (probably) some of the lockers [basement of the  first picture on the left, first row], the sink and tub in the second one and the chair in the submarine picture as well and probably a lot more.

Still; it's an awesome piece of work (all of them), especially since all those books, ledgers, files and binders appear to be handmade.

Definitaly a source of inspiration; I've already got thiis bookmarked! 8)

Yep I liked the books too, although you can get those Dollhouse scale too. If they are handmade then full marks I made a few for a BUF Propaganda wagon, and they were quite enough.

Seeing as Zafarelli mentioned this thread on his excellent Kowloon thread > http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=46432.0 < I thought I should add a few more links on here in hope of others finding some neat stuff to share too.

Matchstick or in this case toothpick modelling is typically an impoverished cousin, well not any longer...

Meanwhile in the land of matchsticks:
