Sky Martians! - The Raas-Ak-Naa
« on: 23 September 2012, 10:43:59 AM »
Here are a couple of images of my first Sky Martian clan.

The Raas-Ak-Naa are thought to dwell amongst the remote northern most mountain range on Mars and are feared as the most ruthless of all the sky dwelling clans. They wear the traditional pearlescent armour of their sky dwelling brothers but favour red as the colour of their loin cloths in deference to the mother planet. They rarely wear a helmet as they believe their foes should look death in the face when they are vanquished.
Taken from the journal of Professor Ebenezar Von Stypher-Dyke, (University of Vienna,)written during his travels on Mars 1888 -1889.

Intimidating indeed!! The Raas-Ak-Naa do look a force to be feared.

Nice painting Nick - and I almost got my wish of seeing these buggers in all red.  ;)

Nice work, very consistant.

The more I see of these fellas, the more I have a yearning for using them for something totally different....

How tall are they?
