Very nice fella! I love how you do flesh tones.

I'm betting you won again too.. The luck of the Irish.
"The sword sung on the barren heath,
The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."
William Blake

The Lockswin came around during the week for a game of SA and brought his latest finished miniature with him.

Here he is:

Captain Murphy himself, the leader of the Northern Irish Division of M.O.O.S.(E). wearing his Lucky Hat and carrying his swordstick, he has recently decided it would be prudent to carry a Tommy Gun as well!

Well, if the whole Threshold thing doesn't work out, he can most certainly be Lucky's (of Lucky Charms Fame) stunt double!!!

Great paint job, and I agree about the flesh tone. Very lifelike. The shading's brilliant also...I've long wanted to master the art of the blend and this is a great example of how to do it right. That coat is just perfect.

Oooooh. I know that feeling. It was scary looking down on a table with two maniacs and a construct on it and seeing my fellas removed one by one. Any deaths or jolly phobias?

He does, indeed, look great, mate!

I still keep seeing him as an Irish relative of Willy Wonka, though... ;)

Only kidding.

Great minis, especially the Murphy, hehe!

But shouldn't it be M.O.O.S.(N.I.), considering "E" stands for England? :P

Technically they are known as N.I.M.O.- Northern Irish Ministry of Occult, but still come under the leadership and funding of M.O.O.S.(E).
 ;)

The Lockswin has finished painting another Agent, this time armed with a rifle.

Meet Seamus O'Malley

He had his first outing last night, and in traditional 'newly painted' style, was the only one to suffer an injury.
Luckily for him he made a full recovery.

(Not the best photo, I have to figure out how to photograph black...)

Here he is with the rest of the team painted so far...

Great team!

Thanks styx,

rifleman never came out as I hoped as I find painting black really difficult.
