I really, really, can't wait to get my hands on this set...  It looks superb!  I am already messing about with pots of paint all over my workbench, deciding which colours will work best for which items of clothing, etc!

Do I spy a handy footstool disguised as a Roman Emperor there?

As alway really nice!

But I would like to see a Roman centurion or Emperor miniature with corona civica as plate B1 in Osprey's or this one with Augustus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Augustus_Bevilacqua_Glyptothek_Munich_317.jpg
I would love to add one to my small, but growing army (1,5 figure painted so far).

Most impressive  :)

Mine have just arrived - even better 'in the lead' than in the photos.  Beautiful castings too - virtually no mould-lines at all.

Mad Doc

Adam wants to add some early 3rd cent. to suppliment the EIRs we have done so far. No details just yet, I will post or PM you when I have more concrete detaios. Adam wants to allow folk to us the range to fight the civil wars of that period.

Cheers

Keith

Hi folks,

Here are some snaps of this set:

Painted in my usual fashion: white primer; bright basecoats; Army Painter 'Strong Tone' ('damp-brushed' off the lightest highlights with white spirit); shield transfer from LBMS.

Cheers,
Phil

phil, what a splendid rendition. Well done! :-*
Keith, sounds good to me. Really looking forward to more 3rd century stuff - and maybe some 'sports equipment' as well? ;)
