Khurasan previews 15mm M1A2 SEP
« on: 27 September 2012, 07:18:03 PM »
We've updated our blog with a look at the production casting of the M1A2 SEP, the American Abrams tank, a very important vehicle that we are pleased to have in the pipeline for release in the near future.

Here's an image:

For some more looks at it, have a look at the blog posting:

That is exquisite. I am very much trying to resist 15mm, but travelling through the Fulda Gap twice this week rekindled my "Cold War gone hot" interests... seriously tempting, that tank.

Very nice preview, about time that the Abrams gets a decent 15mm model!

Sweet looking ride!  Pimp that baby with some stowage and she's ready to rock.  :D

If you look at recent pictures stowage is now reduced to a bare minimum after a couple of incident during the 1-64th Thunder Run into Baghdad. It seems now standing orders are to not carry stuff outside stowage racks due to fire problems.

It's also the fact that American forces switched over to operating out of fortified bases and rarely needed to carry lots of stuff around with them.

By the way, here's a paintup by Troop of Shewe of the M1A2.  I'm hoping to have it and the ultra-modern American infantry up for sale before Christmas.  The tank may come first as the infantry have not been painted yet.  (By untra-modern I mean as of right now.)

The irony is, I was looking at this post on Tuesday, because I had found lists to play Moderns with Flames of War rules, and signed out before you posted.  :P

IIRC there are some fanmade lists to play modern conflicts based on the FoW Rules, I am sure the good Major will point us in the right direction...

Interesting way  of representing the US army from the end of 'Nam to the 80's.

[EDIT]Wait..... wow those lists are like 9 years old now. XD
