Some painted up Hotwheels 1/64
« on: September 27, 2012, 09:08:41 PM »
Got my inspiration here on LAF. Hope you like them. I have no plans for them but I just liked to do this as a little project. Some cars, cardboard an a rummage through the bit box.
Regards,
Za

Those are really nice!  I've got a bunch of old Hot Wheels I keep meaning to do something like that with.  Looks fun!

Thanks for the comments. I can really recommend doing a project like this. The cars cost next to nothing and with a bit of cardboard and some bits out of the bit box you get a long way. This was a little project I did in the summer on one or two rainy days.

Great stuff Mate!  (How's your Zombicide stuff going?)

That looks like a fun project for a weekend or two!  Would be fun to do 'just for the heck of it.'    :D

@ Too Bo Coo. If you have the rules, A'dam is just around the corner. My Zombicide stuff is still in the box. Nothing painted yet  ::)

@Doctor Pete. It is a fun project. I can see myself do up more in the future

Really nice conversions there.

There is/was a company in the UK that used to sell Mad Max style vehicles for 25mm/28mm.

My memory isn't great but I seem to remember they were called something like 1st city or One City.

They had a nice little resin APC too.

Nee, 4 makes a good road gang!  Are you in Noord Holland?  I know Subcultures in Utrecht has a nice game room in the back of the shop, and I'm sure they'd love to see some Old Sckool GW being played.
(BTW I'm also a board game nut and my Zombicide zombies are half done!)

I live in Voorburg just under Den Haag. So Utrecht is doable. I'll PM you this week. I have to check with the agenda  (I mean the misses  :D)
