Love the restrained use of colour on these. Since you're a big JG fan, have you seen, or painted any of his old Asgard barbarians? I would love to see some painted versions of those. (I think Alternative Armies produces them now)

Always nice to see these, Chris!

I have a set, they're currently being painted on commission. Expect to see pictures of them here when I get them back. =)

Just to clear it up, there are these:
http://displacedminiatures.com/LeadAsbestos/gallery/68/

All of which were sold, bar Skrag, to make rent a few years back, and now, there are these:
http://displacedminiatures.com/LeadAsbestos2010/gallery/3153/

Painfully, slowly re-collected and painted. I did make the rent, and have enough to buy my pride-and-joy Gripping Beast Athurian army w/ the proceeds from that sale, but it still stings a bit thinkng about it!

Skrag has been with me since I was a wee lad, 15 maybe? One of the very few originals...

If feel your pain brother...I find myself recollecting several different things that I stupidly sold in the past.

Love your Ogres...I just added the Gladiator model to my collection and can't wait to paint him...I hope I can do him justice like you did!

Cheers.

Lovely stuff - got a burgeoning collection of the Jes goodwin ones myself.

Funny actually - I finally got round to prepping and undercoating that Golgfag champion the other day...  ::)

Lovely!

WELL DONE! The Big Guy with the hook hand was an old favorite...I'd rather not think about how long ago that was.

All this Ogre love today got me checking my own gallery, and I noticed I hadn't actually uploaded half the images! In fact, I refered to this:

and had no pic in the gallery! ::)

Anyway, all 11 I have done so far are here:

Hope you like them!
