This is going to be very interesting. I have long been brooding over an idea of a maze-like Caentral Asian town on a hillside. Much less ambitious than yours but sufficiently dense and intricate to look good.

impressive... looking forward to this one...

I assume either end of the corridors will be playable rooms as you could excuse a room there in a building layout... how about a The Raid style stairwell somewhere? so folks can fire down/up

Ready for Crisis? Let me think: errrm... no. But I might bring the facades just to show off :)

Next years Gubbspel Galore, then!  :D

Henrix, you are not supposed to move between the buildings, but inside them. I found this picture of a paper mock-up I built a couple of weeks ago, just to see if this would make sense at all. I hope this makes it a bit more clear what I'm up to.

Ohhhh, sweet! Now even I get it!

I'll have a dredge trough my photos from Hong Kong last year to see if there's any interesting street signs or so.
(I bought a new camera. Quite a few pictures were taken, almost at random.)

Looking good so far, an interesting idea with its own problems to overcome. I don't doubt your ability to model it and I'm looking forward to seeing how you invest it with playability.

Thanks, but I'll use the Pardulon ones. Not yet available, but very soon, as soon as these facades are painted and I'm able to take decent pictures. As will be the windows ;)

Henrix, Gubbspel Galore would be a possibility. If I manage to paint enough miniatures for a game (or any at all...) Pictures from Hong Kong would be most welcome!

Anyway, a few more pictures of today's progress. Mainly a bit of detail work, rooms behind the large openings (which will house bars or shops eventually), and a spray of black/white primer.

Overall shots:

This looks like it is going to be very special indeed.
Crazy, but special.

What you have done so far is enough to seriously whet ones appetite.
Oh, yes.

I am really looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

I would go even further. At the risk of being cursed and shouted at :
I like the primed facades more than the painted one.
I think they give the whole a desperate, gloomy sight. Sorta like a film noir.

That's an impressive work, and the result is simply stunning!

Can you tell me how did you make the water leak tubes outside the facade? =) Which material did you use?
