Another new guy.

I was introduced to this site just yesterday, and after a short perusal of the various columns I decided that I really should join.
My interests are most periods historical, fantasy, sci-fi and alt history. I have a particular interest in the Victorian age, historical or not, and the between wars and WW2 era, again wether historical or not.
My current projects are a Aeronef Russian fleet, Martian Empires and I have just started a Chinese Warlords army for HoTT. My lead mountain continues to grow exponentialy, with only the need for more money placing any restriction on said growth
From what I have seen so far I feel that this forum will provide me with much inspiration and I look forward to my future visits.

The only problem with this place is that there are so many talented people doing so many fascinating projects, that there is too much inspiration & any attempt to save money & reduce the Lead Mountain is doomed to failure  ::

No relation to Matakishi, although I do like his web site.

Matakakea is Te Reo Maori for Hawkeye, the name I was given during my time in the New Zealand Territorial Forces. I was very proud to given the name as I worked very hard on developing my marksmanship skills. I'm just glad I never had to use them in earnest. Its far more civilised to do your fighting on the tabletop

The closest equivalent would be a Tohunga, a cross between witch doctor and religious leader. A type of shaman I suppose.
