I agree, but that's not an FAQ issue it's the mods not having read it...

I know the reason Nick at North Star stopped posting here was because he got sick of his posts being moved to Commercial even though he was following the FAQ as far as he could see (and not mass cross posting like a couple of recent ones, which is annoying).

We will try to make the kickstarter policy a bit more clear soon.

Generally if someone is unhappy with the decision of a mod he always can talk to that mod or to me. There is always a solution satisfactory to both sides. That's surely a better option than sulk and run away.

No argument from me, just brought it up as it was relevant.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Sorry, Alex!

I thought policy was changed; dopey moi!  :?

I knew previously that company announcements were supposed to go to 'themed' fora, but couldn't find such instructions other than for Kickstarter.

Given the mostly free nature of the forum, I'm terribly impressed how well, if I can call it so, 'professionally', things go here that any comments are done with the hope of a small contribution, 'pay back', for the pleasure I've received here.

Doug,

the policy is still the same, though there is need for clarification of some details. We will announce it not later than tomorrow.

Has requiring that the country be listed in the title of bazzar posts been considered?

I realize that LAF is a fairly euro-centric group, but there's alot of us from elsewehere like Asia, Australia, North America, etc.  and it would be very helpful to see location at a glance rather than having to click every single topic to find out if it's in a region that is even workable for you.

Not yet but it's not a bad idea.

Are more standard Euro board games (as opposed to the miniatures/board games hybrid) appropriate to post for sale here?
Remember, remember, the Dalek December
With Paris in ruins and London in ember
In times of the future when fears are abating
Don’t try to forget them, the Daleks are waiting
Quietly planning and scheming and hating…

It works in the following way:

You ask to have your name added to the list.
When you are next on the list, the previous person on the list sends you the existing box which contains the accumulated sprues/miniatures/etc.
You take out the items from the box that interest you and add some of your own.
You then send the box on to the next person on the list.

Thanks for the answer Mason...but please to whom i have to ask and in which topic/list?
and, above all, which kind of minis may i add and could i find in the parcel?...metal or plastic and which scale?..i only do historicals above all in 28mm and a few in 20mm..would they be ok to exchange..or the menbers using this nice systhem are more fantasy oriented?
many thanks

This is the UK and Europe thread:

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=89892.0

If you are in that area, just post in the thread and register your interest.
As for what is in the box....it has been some time since I last saw it but it did have a fair variety of stuff in it, both historical and fantasy.
No idea what is in it now, but that is the nice thing about it: You never know what you will find.

If that is too random and you just want to swap specific sprues, all you need to do is post your own advert in the Bazaar stating what you are looking for and what you have in exchange.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, fairly new here.

I have quit using ebay for selling, and have found a website dedicated to listing wargames figures for sale, called Minisbarter. com

https://minisbarter.com/

If I want to notify of items I have for sale there within the Bazaar of Obscurities, should I treat it like the rules for Ebay listings, but put "Minisbarter" in brackets in the subject listing, with the usual 1 active threat at any one time, and no bumping for 3 days etc?

That sounds reasonable. Just use the different tag in the title - the name of the board is mainly due to the fact that back in the olden dayes(TM) there was essentially only Ebay for online auctions, so the name kind of stuck. We'll see how to best proceed with that issue.
