William of Orange and troops
« on: 01 October 2012, 05:33:13 PM »
Here's my William of Orange, with some of his forces (the forces you've seen before in the last LPL), William is new, and here they are all together for the first time having been ejected at semi final stage in the latest painting competition over on Steve Dean's :)

All the figures are by Front Rank except for some North Star 1672 (ex Copplestone Glory of The Sun) figures in the background on the siege shot...

Blue coats are Dutch, Red coats are English, Black coats are French Huguenots in William's service.

At least they are metal, Richard!  ;) Seriously though, they are wonderful work! Love the siege pictures!

They are beautifully painted Richard but I'm sick of the sight of them  ;)

some lovely colours there... and I must admit, I didn't notice they had no eyes, so maybe you don't need to worry...

out of interest, where did you get the green man sconce?
